Separate quantitative evaluation of degree of order and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy for disorder and order portion in FePt granular films

The dependence of the degree order and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (Ku⊥) on layer thickness (dmag) for FePt granular films with various grain boundary materials (GBMs) were investigated. According to analysis a constant GBM volume 30 vol%, order, disorder, non-epitaxial portions co-existed in films. From separate quantitative evaluation these portions, following was found; 1) magnitudes Ku⊥ disorder against dmag constant, while film average resulted positive correlation between diameter 2) portion, had linear 3) magnitude portion depended GBM.
